Hey there just a little tip if you don't already know this if you don't own an iron like me and you want to block a square just soak it in warm soapy water with a mild degerent rinse it well and then ring it out well the place on a clean towel and shape it out with your fingers so it lays flat then take your rolling pin and cover the square with the towel and roll the rolling pin on it as if you were rolling out pie crust it works well and it also squeezes out any excess water

Well My Birthday was great this year my hubby bought me a new laptop after I had a huge accident with my other one that he bought me almost 2 years ago well this one I won't be drinking coffee near it.................it came with a built in web can so I can either take videos of my crochet work or still photos it is a neat little thing if I must say so well I will post new stuff I make and links to other blogs or sites of where I got the patterns from .....................well I need to go now so be back soon

new afghan crocheted

This afghan took me no time at all I got the pattern from http://www.christinascrochethaven.com/ I didn't have the reqiured yarn that she called for so I just used up bits of scraps that I had lying around I think it looks rather freaky myself and it's thick and warm we sure need it after the snow storm we are getting right now it's a nice afghan to curl up in with a nice steaming cup of hot chocolate

Hello Again sorry I haven't been around to post but I have been so busy the past week or so I haven't had time to myself.............:( and now it's never ending we have a wedding to go to this weekend coming up then a birthday party the weekend after ..............then I have to go through my christmas deco's and see what I need to decorate my house and I haven't finished the afghan that I promised to post a pic and the url of where I got the pattern from I hoping that now I have a little time this week that I will beable to finish it SIGH!! but the bright side to this I get to go Yarn shopping this week as well I need to stock up I'm running low also I need something to do for after christmas oh darn I forgot I have to start my christmas shopping soon haven't started it yet ................Well I'm one of those last minute shoppers I know bad me I just don't like the packed malls so I wait til almost just before christmas usually around here almost everyone is done by the time I go so the malls are not too bad except walmart that store is nuts around this time of year I stay away from it .........................But anywho I want to go and finish that afghan I promised oh before I forget hubby told me that If I 'm a good girl this year I may get my digital camera I've been wanting for 2 years now so I can take better pictures right now I'm using my little web cam and the pictures are not that clear.....................well I have to go for now talk to you soon

Well it wasn't a bad day today, wanted to walk to the mall to go buy some new yarn today ,my stash is getting low but ti has been wet and rainy all day. So will probably go on friday.....Will post pictures soon of my crocheting not quite done the things i'm presently working on

Today I'm crocheting a basketweave baby or doll afghan which I just learned how to do this just the other day, and I must say it is turning out just great. Also I'm working on a chain up afghan that I'm almost done, will post picture when it is done also will post a link of where I got it from.
